Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 10, 2026
Cinnamon is run by its founder, Cody Quinlan, in Tennessee. "We," "us" and "our" mean Cinnamon. This policy covers our website, cinnamoncouples.com, and our waitlist. The Cinnamon app isn't live yet. We'll update this policy before the app collects anything.
What we collect
- What you give us: your email address when you join the waitlist. If you email us, we get what you send.
- What's collected automatically: when you visit, our site and our partners collect basic technical information, like your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site that sent you here, and whether you joined the waitlist. This happens through cookies, pixels and similar tools.
- We don't ask for details about your relationship or your partner on this site. Please don't send them.
How we use it
- To add you to the waitlist and email you about Cinnamon's launch, the early access offer and related updates.
- To learn which ads and pages work, so we waste less money showing ads to people who aren't interested.
- To keep the site secure and working.
- To follow the law.
Cookies and the Meta pixel
We use Meta's pixel on our website. It lets Meta collect information about your visit, like the pages you view and whether you joined the waitlist, and tell us how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform. If you join the waitlist, the pixel may send Meta a scrambled (hashed) version of your email so Meta can match your signup to the ad you saw. Meta may also use this information to show Cinnamon ads to people who visited our site, and may collect information about your activity on our site and on other sites and apps over time. Meta handles that information under its own privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy
Your choices about tracking:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Change your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
- Our site doesn't currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, because there's no common standard for them.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information for money. We share it only with:
- Service providers that run parts of our business for us: Cloudflare (website hosting and email routing), Brevo (waitlist and email), and Google (business email). They may use it only to provide their services to us.
- Meta, as described above.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect someone's safety.
- A buyer or successor, if Cinnamon is ever sold or merged, under the same protections in this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If we close the waitlist without launching, we'll delete waitlist emails within 12 months. Technical data held by our providers follows their own retention schedules.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email hello@cinnamoncouples.com and we'll respond within 30 days. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and once the app launches you'll also be able to unsubscribe in the app. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights, and we'll honor them as the law requires.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards and trusted providers. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise information will never be exposed. If a breach affects your information, we'll notify you as the law requires.
Children
Cinnamon is for adults. This site isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child gave us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Where we operate
Cinnamon is based in the United States and built for U.S. users. Your information is stored and processed in the U.S.
Changes to this policy
When we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, like how we share your information, we'll email waitlist members before it takes effect.
